A public demonstration model is not published yet. Rather than point you at a placeholder, we run the walkthrough live on a model built from sources relevant to your organization, which is more useful anyway. The interface below is the real product concept, drawn rather than screenshotted, on invented geometry.

What a walkthrough covers

The coverage view sets recognised problems against the projects that address them. An area with a documented, funded project reads differently from an area where the institution has written down a problem and nothing has been programmed against it.

What communities are more than a 15 minute walk from essential services?

Answer

Four areas fall outside every essential service catchment when access is computed over the street network. Two of them sit within 800 metres of a facility in a straight line, and are excluded by the rail corridor rather than by distance.

  • Two of the four areas are within straight-line range but have no crossing within the walking threshold.

The network and the service inventory are well covered. The population figure is a residential count and will understate or overstate depending on the time of day.

What the data does not cover

  • Daytime population is not connected, so workers and visitors are outside this analysis.
  • Informal crossings are absent from the network layer and may shorten two of the four cases in practice.
